COWBOY CHURCH OF ERATH COUNTY
CCEC Playdays
Barrels & Bibles meet the 2nd and 4th Monday night of the month. There is a devotion at 6:30pm in the back sanctuary at the Cowboy Church of Erath County. We are a group of people who share the interests of barrel racing and a great love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Each time we meet, we start with a Bible study, led by Clarissa Kopchak and then head to the arena to practice barrel racing and expand our knowledge. All ages, skill levels, genders are welcome. If you don't have a horse, come to the Bible study and join us anyway! Martha Wright Jordon teaches the barrel racing. Martha is a two-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, won six of the ten go-rounds at the 1971 NFR. Martha has also trained barrel horses who have won numerous futurities, derbies and sweepstakes at major events throughout the United States. There is a break in December, January and February, but we normally resume in March.
The best way to stay up to date on when we will meet is to join our Facebook page!
Team Roping Practices
We have Team Roping Practices almost every Tuesday (when we have cattle). The Practices are open to everyone and start at 7pm. To stay up to date on upcoming roping practices, keep an eye on our Wrangler or Facebook page. It costs $10 per horse that is roped on!
