Children's Church Program
At CCEC, our heart for children extends into the lives of parents and families. Within our children’s ministry, we do our best to foster an environment for parents and children to spend time together learning and growing in Christ. Our kids are the future and we want them to have a place to learn more about Jesus Christ and whom He has called them to be.
Meet Our Director
Aaron & Tori Bowen
''Hi there! My name is Tori Bowen and I am humbled to serve as the Children’s Ministry Director here at
CCEC. My husband, Aaron, and I along with our three children, Fallon, Cash and Emmy, made a ‘move
in faith’ to Stephenville in the Summer of 2014. We are a family on-the-go like most everyone. I am a
sucker for animals, especially pigs, so I spend quite a bit of time tending to their whims and needs!
By Spring of 2015, we had found a spiritual home in the Cowboy Church. It was during a ladies’ bible
study that the need for help in children’s ministry was brought to my attention. I remember that day
like it was yesterday because ‘the calling’ was on me and I knew it; God said “hey, that’s you”. Earnest
prayer and consideration lead me to realize this was an invitation I wanted to accept. I began as a
helper during Sunday Children’s Church which led to a teaching role, and then the opportunity to serve
Over the past five years I have been blessed beyond measure to get to share God’s love and direction
with the children here at CCEC. I am growing in faith right-along-side them and my role in teaching the
gospel is not something I will ever take for granted.
‘Hold on to the pattern of wholesome teaching you learned from me –
a pattern shaped by the faith and love that you have in Christ Jesus.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us,
carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted in you.’
2 Timothy 1:13-14
My sincerest desire for every-single child we encounter is that they will experience the unconditional
love and certainty of belonging that only comes from knowing the Lord. Helping them understand that
they too have a purpose as believers in Christ to build up the Kingdom of God. ‘Don’t let anyone think
less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in
your love, your faith, and your purity’ – 1 Timothy 4:12.
My mission is to equip the next generation with the Armor of God through scripture and plant seeds on
good soil! I pray that our children will not only grow in their love and faith in Jesus, but also know their
own worth as a child of the Almighty God.''
